Wanderly requires access to your device's location to provide its core functionality. We collect:

Wanderly uses the following third-party services that may collect information:

3.1 Google Maps

3.2 Backend Services

We use cloud services to host our backend API and database:

• Railway: Hosts our backend API server
• Supabase: Hosts our database (PostgreSQL)
• Cloudflare R2: Stores and serves images

These services process location data and app usage data to provide the App's functionality. They do not use your data for their own purposes beyond providing services to us.

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Data Storage

• Location data is stored temporarily on our servers while you use the app
• We do not store your location history permanently
• Place preferences and interactions may be stored to improve your experience

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
• Secure database storage
• Access controls and authentication

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5.1 Location Permissions

• iOS: Settings → Privacy → Location Services → Wanderly
• You can choose "While Using the App" or "Never"
• You can revoke location permissions at any time

5.2 Location-Based Alerts

You can enable or disable location-based alerts within the app settings. When disabled, we will not send you proximity notifications.

5.3 Data Access and Deletion

You have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data

6. Data Retention
